Opportunity for selection to compete at a major International competition:
The Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships are held every two years, hosted by a member country of the Commonwealth. These events have taken placed in Canada, New Zealand and South Africa amongst others.
The Home Nations Championships are held annually and hosted by one of the Home Nations - England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man.
